FREE – Mindfulness In The Workplace – 9th Nov 2011
Stress is a killer. It kills your performance, kills your motivation and morale, and it can eventually kill you!
Mindfulness is defined as “the energy of attention. It is the capacity in each of us to be present 100% to what is happening within and around us.” It is about developing the person’s sense of awareness, enabling him/her to ground themselves in the moment and helping them to successfully manage the challenges of daily life in the workplace and in their personal life.
The potential benefits include lower levels of stress, better focus and concentration, improved effectiveness, better interpersonal relations and improved health. No business owner, executive or head of HR should ignore the potential benefits of this simple practice.
I am running another short workshop “An Introduction to Mindfulness in the Workplace” on Wednesday 9th November, at the Irish Management Institute, Sandyford Road, Dublin 16. Tea/Coffee from 8.45am. The workshop starts at 9.15am sharp and will finish not later than 11.15 am. It’s near the M50, there’s plenty of parking and the Luas Green Line is a short walk.
This workshop is FREE but you must book in advance.
